In short

You can

  • read, copy and share any page, in any format;
  • translate, adapt, remix and build on the content;
  • use it in teaching, study groups, internal training and personal notes, as long as it is not commercial.

You must

  • credit Cyber Library and link to the page you used;
  • say if you changed it;
  • share what you adapt under the same license.

You cannot

  • use the content for commercial purposes without our permission;
  • add terms or technical restrictions that stop others from doing what the license allows.

What the license covers

The license covers the library content: the text of every page published on www.cyberlibrary.com and in our public repository (github.com/Cyber-Courses/cyber-library), and its translations.

It does not cover the Cyber Library name and logo, the design of the website, its source code, or content from other people that a page quotes or links to. Those keep their own rights and licenses.

How to credit the library

Give the page title, "Cyber Library", a link to the page, the license with its link, and whether you made changes. For example:

"Kerberoasting" by Cyber Library (www.cyberlibrary.com), CC BY-NC-SA 4.0, translated and shortened.

When you use many pages, one clear credit to Cyber Library with a link to the site is enough, as long as readers can find the pages you used.

Commercial use

Non-commercial means that the use is not mainly intended for, or directed toward, commercial advantage or payment. Selling the content, putting it behind a paywall, or using it in a paid product, course or service is commercial.

If you want to use the content commercially, write to us at privacy@cyberlibrary.com. We are open to it.

AI assistants and the MCP server

Content read through our MCP server or by any AI assistant stays under the same license. Answers that quote or adapt library pages should keep the page URL so readers can reach the source.

Contributions

When you contribute to the library, your contribution is published under this license. You also accept the Cyber Library Contributor License Agreement (CLA), which lets us keep the library online, translate it and use it in our products. You keep your copyright.
